UArena connects people with independent trainers, coaches, and venues to organize schedules and bookings. This policy explains what information the app uses and how.
Name. The name you enter is shown to the trainer or venue you book with, so they know who is coming. Use the name you want them to see. It is stored together with your bookings (see section 2).
iCloud account identifier. To tell your bookings apart from other people's, and to send you alerts, the app uses an anonymous identifier that Apple assigns to your iCloud account for this app. It is not your Apple ID, your email address, or your iCloud name. UArena has no access to your iCloud data or to your Apple account details.
Schedules and bookings. The schedules you join or create, the time slots you book or offer, the status of each booking (requested, confirmed, declined, cancelled) and, if a trainer or venue marks it, whether you attended.
Location. Your device location is used only while you use the app, to show trainers, venues, and nearby places on the map. To find UArena schedules published near you, your current coordinates are sent to Apple's CloudKit service as part of the search request. UArena does not save your location, does not link it to you, and does not share it with trainers, venues, or other users. If you are a trainer or venue and you set a location pin for your schedule, that pin is published with your schedule (see section 6).
Notifications. If you allow them, the app shows alerts when a spot is requested, confirmed, declined, or cancelled. They are delivered through Apple's push notification service.
Camera. Used only to scan a QR code to join a schedule. No photo or video is stored or transmitted; the feed is processed on your device to read the code and nothing else.
AI Assistant. The optional AI Assistant runs on Apple Intelligence, entirely on your iPhone. What you say or type to it is processed on your device and is not sent to UArena, Apple, or anyone else. The Assistant works with the same app data described in section 2 and does not send anything extra anywhere. If your iPhone does not support Apple Intelligence, the Assistant works with on-screen buttons instead, with the same privacy guarantee.
UArena has no servers of its own. The data that has to be shared between the person who books and the trainer or venue is stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), in the app's public database, using the iCloud account signed in on your device:
A copy is also kept on your device so the app opens instantly and works with a poor connection. The two demo schedules included in the app live only on your device and are never uploaded. Booking a real schedule or publishing one requires an iCloud account; without it you can browse the app and the demos.
We use this data only to run the app: to show schedules, take and manage bookings, and send alerts — never to build advertising profiles or sell information. Apple processes it as the provider of iCloud, under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
UArena does not run ads inside the app. To measure the results of our own marketing campaigns on other platforms (so we know an install came from an ad and can improve it), the app includes Meta's advertising SDK. It shares a device identifier and basic app-interaction events (such as opening the app or installing it) with Meta through Apple's privacy-preserving frameworks (SKAdNetwork / AdAttributionKit). This data is not linked to your name, account, or anything you do inside UArena, and is not used to track you across other companies' apps or websites — UArena does not show Apple's tracking prompt because it does not track you in that sense. We do not sell your data.
We do not use your location for advertising. We do not read your contacts, photos, or messages. We do not show ads inside the app.
Provider subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. UArena never sees your payment details.
When you book, the Provider sees the name you entered and your booking. To show how many spots are free, the app also downloads the bookings of the schedules you join, which include the names entered by other people; the app does not display other people's names to athletes, only to the owner of the schedule.
When you publish a schedule, your public name, activities, availability, access code, and the location pin you chose are stored in the public database described in section 2. They are shown to people who join with your access code and, as a listing, to people near your pin. The access code controls who joins your schedule inside the app; it is not a security barrier for information stored in the public database. Choose what you share accordingly — for example, place the pin where you want to be found, not at your home address.
Data stored in the cloud is kept until it is deleted. You can:
Depending on where you live (for example the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights over your data, such as access, correction, and deletion. Write to the same address to exercise them.
The app is not directed at children. If a minor attends a session booked through UArena, a parent or guardian is responsible for the booking.
